We're excited to announce a new blog series on 8 Bit Ramen, called RedMarmot Binges. In this series, our resident TV and movie buff, RedMarmot, will be sharing his thoughts and opinions on current streamable shows that he's been watching.
With so many great shows available on streaming platforms these days, it can be overwhelming to decide what to watch next. That's where RedMarmot comes in. He'll be giving you his honest reviews and recommendations, so you can spend less time scrolling and more time enjoying great content.
Whether you're into drama, comedy, sci-fi, or anything in between, RedMarmot will have something for you. From popular shows like The Witcher and Stranger Things, to lesser-known gems like Dark and Fleabag, he'll be covering it all.
First up on the chopping block is The Legend of Vox Machina!
As a long-time fan of Dungeons & Dragons, we were thrilled to hear about the upcoming release of The Legend of Vox Machina on Amazon Prime Video. The animated series follows a group of adventurers as they embark on a dangerous quest to save the world of Exandria from an ancient evil.
Season 2, Episode 1 picks up where the first season left off, with our heroes still reeling from their battle against the Chroma Conclave. The episode begins with the group taking some much-needed downtime, but it isn't long before they're pulled back into the fray by a new threat to the realm.
One of the things we love about The Legend of Vox Machina is how well it captures the spirit of a classic D&D campaign. The characters are all well-developed and their interactions feel genuine, and the action is fast-paced and exciting. The animation is also top-notch, with some truly stunning visuals throughout the episode.
While the show does have some adult themes and language, it's not overly gratuitous, and we think it strikes a good balance between being accessible to both hardcore D&D fans and more casual viewers.
Overall, we're really excited to see where this season of The Legend of Vox Machina takes us, and to have a new season back after so long! If you're a fan of fantasy, animation, or just good storytelling in general, we highly recommend giving it a watch, and for that we give this episode the spiciest ramen rating of five bowls of ramen fit for a red marmot!
